If you haven’t yet, please check out the “About” page which gives an introduction to The Civilians and our work creating a new musical inspired by the lives of the people in adult entertainment. We’re working with Center Theatre Group, the leading theater institution in Los Angeles. This blog will follow our adventures as we traverse the Valley meeting all the different people who make and sell porn. We’ll post some excerpts from our interviews as they come in. And we’ll let you know what we’re reading, watching and talking about. Flying out to LA this Sunday and we’ll be in town for three weeks. Very excited and a bit overwhelmed. There is just so much porn out there. It seems that one in three Americans must be making porn.
